Tour a rich variety of private gardens large and small, plus the City of Carlsbad’s Sculpture Garden, the fascinating Agua Hedionda Lagoon Discovery Center’s California native garden, and the award-winning Buena Vista Elementary School Garden.
Library needs for Poinsettia Elementary School will be featured during the
Kids are Worth a MillionTM Seventh Annual Telethon (a program of the
Carlsbad Educational Foundation). You can view the live telethon on
Thursday, March 22nd from 6-9 P.M. on Time Warner Cable Channel 3. Mr.

Clay Johnson has collected over 4,000 books for our new school’s
library. The final step in his Eagle Scout project is to sort the books and
this is where you can help out! On Tuesday April 3rd, we will be sorting
all of the collected books, likely by fiction/nonfiction/unusable, at the
Poinsettia library.
